Lenise Jackson: Founder

Lenise is an LA based Pilates and Aerial Arts instructor. She has a background in  professional dance, Pilates, Yoga, and aerial arts. With her growing demand, she has earned affiliations and partnerships with companies and studios such as AIR Fit, Iconi Leggings, Tavi Noir, and much more. She has done work as a featured dancer in “Diary of Black Men” starring late Tommy Ford and Carl Anthony Payne, a dancer at Six Flags over Texas, and a featured Dallas at the NYE Dallas Channel 8 news show. She has been a featured aerialist in voted best music video October 2020 by the Los Angeles Film Awards with artist, Kevin Neil Hawkins’s. She has also performed as an aerialist on the virtual stage of “Let em eat Cake NYC”, Afro Comicon, and Fly Black Aerialists. Also recently was a featured aerialist in the movie “For the Love of Money” starring Keith Sweat, Lisa Raye McCoy, Katt Williams, Rotimi, and Cedric Pendleton.

Stephanie Hicks: Secretary

Stephanie is an aerialist based out of Central Florida hoping to grow an obsessive hobby into an eventual career. Her role within Fly Black Aerialists is promoting engagement among members, drawing on her passion for promoting inclusivity in circus. Follow her on IG @silkburned

Karynn Sucaldito: Admin Leader

Karynn is an aerialist and the founder of Aerial Equanimity – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Reno, Nevada working to improve access to the experience and opportunities of aerial arts for Northern Nevada youths with a focus on Social-Emotional Learning and wellness through movement. Karynn has been working in the aerial world since 2015 and is a continuing student of the arts. Karynn was the recipient of Paper Doll Militia’s Artful Leaders Scholarship in the Summer of 2020, and two-time FBA scholarship recipient in 2021. After which, Karynn went on to complete her Silks Level 1 certification through Born to Fly Teacher Trainings. Currently, she serves as an administrative leader for the Fly Black Aerialists, and is a core facilitator for Soulmatique Intelligence where free/donation-based virtual classes are offered and accessible to communities across the country and around the world. She has been a dedicated community member involved in Reno community volunteerism since 2011, with four-and-a-half years of experience in primary education. Karynn is now pursuing her 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitation (SEL*F) Certificate through Breathe for Change and feels called to do her part to give back by providing access to safe and consistent recreational activities which allow for positive personal development to Reno youth communities.
